-
This year we have working
display layouts from Jeff Carpenter, who is sure to be running pre-war
TTR with many early wooden buildings on display.
-
Clive Parker is bringing his
micro display again, running later 50's style Trix, with some of his
ingenious conversions of standard Trix Twin locos. And last but by no
means least, Geoffrey Robinson with his extensive build-on-the-day
railway featuring later 12 volt DC items and working overhead electrics.
-
Sales tables, covering every
era and price range you might be tempted by, will be provided by myself
with rolling stock and official TTRCA shirts and caps in a range of
sizes. Plus sales from Dixon Upcott, David Best, David Holmes, Peter
Berry, Don Holder and of course Martin Drayson with the popular range of
TTRCA official spares. John Brown is expected to bring his range of new
style replica boxes. It is likely that exhibitors with layouts will have
some small areas of sales alongside their tables.
-
Master painter John Hopkinson
will be there to advise on repairs and repaints and will have a range of
excellent alternate liveries to customise to your own choice.
-
I am expecting Franz Nowack
from Germany to add international flavour and advice. I am not sure that
he will bring any sales items from so far away by public transport, but
if he does, make sure you pay him a call.
-
And of course excellent
freshly prepared food by my daughter, including the well-received TTRCA
event cup cakes that sold out quickly at Gaydon lnternational last
September.
See you there from 09.30 onwards. Remember we close
at 2 pm.
