Penny and Martin Drayson have contributed a significant amount of time and expertise to provide the TTRCA Spares service. At the AGM, Martin was presented with an unusual Trix loco, and Penny received a bouquet, as a mark of gratitude for their commitment to the TTRCA's members.

NUNEATON

2012

Martin's loco only appeared in the Trix Main Catalogue 1999/2000 as a limited edition to celebrate 100 years of the DB museum at Nürnberg and 100 years of the Märklin museum at Göppingen. It is beautifully engineered (heavy with a die cast metal body).

Jeff Carpenter brought along a layout featuring early prewar Trix Twin and Trix Express.

Jeff's layout included early wooden buildings: goods depot, engine and carriage sheds, water tower, signal box and Twin City station.

TTR locos were, appropriately, in Southern Livery to match the early Trix Express imported items.

Another special production: reproduction track clamps for bakelite track.
