The event was open to the
public, which gave some youngsters an opportunity to see Trix in action.

Keith Hayman
had decided this would be the last event at which he managed a
sales
table,
so all locos and rolling stock were offered at a 40% discount.

Here's Clive's latest creation:
a DC Scotsman. The chassis is from a German Trix
BR01,
and the body and tender are TTR Scotsman diecast.

Clive has
modified the crossover on his layout to have a metal centre contact,
connected
to the centre rail. This helps ensure that locos don't stall while crossing.
