BANBURY

2017

A closer view of Colin's layout, with early 1950's TTR locos.

Jeff Carpenter with pre-war TTR in action.

Jeff brought along an unusual Trix prototype - an 0-6-0 tank with outside cylinders.

Also running was Duncan Bell's 'scale' Portsmouth EMU set.

More modern Trix 2-rail was featured by David Holt

John Hills-Harrop brought along an 'Evening Star',
built on a Trix Express 2-10-0 chassis.

John also brought his GWR railcar, converted from a Diesel Flier.

Philip Cooke, John Hopkinson and Dave Norville discuss Trix.

Peter Berry (on right) had one of the large sales tables.

Steve White (TTRCA website editor) also ran a sales table,
with wagons priced from £1 and locos from £5.

An unusual find, provided by Dixon Upcott, is this Trix 'Helipower' DC power unit suitable for a Cadet loco.
